It may have been a chilly night in Sydney on June 12, but the warmth in the room at the She Gives Growing Women's Giving Roundtable event was felt by all who attended.
Hosted by Gilbert + Tobin the evening began with a panel discussion facilitated by She Gives founder Melissa Smith and featuring Penny Mapp of the Grahame Mapp Family Foundation, Tracy Norman GAICD of the Ian & Shirley Norman Foundation and Upenyu (Uppi) Mawande from the Judith Neilson Foundation. The room laughed and learned as the panel generously shared personal anecdotes and insights into giving which set the scene brilliantly for the robust roundtable discussions that followed.
As with all She Gives Roundtable Events, the rich learnings we captured that night will feed directly into the She Gives Research Report - the most significant report into women's giving ever undertaken in Australia.
The report and corresponding recommendations will be completed this year and launched in February 2025.
