It was a privilege and a joy to be a part of the Queensland Philanthropy Week, where we held our She Gives Growing Women's Giving roundtable event in Brisbane on June 3.
The room of 40 passionate local women philanthropists and leaders in giving were inspired by a passionate panel featuring 2024 Queensland SME Philanthropist of the Year Shweta Khan, Tim Fairfax Family Foundation Advisor Prue Pateras and CEO of Queensland Gives by Queensland Community Foundation, and the driving force behind Queensland Philanthropy Week, Tara Castle.
The insights they shared set the tone for the robust and informative roundtable discussions that will feed directly into the She Gives Research Report — the most significant report into women's giving ever undertaken in Australia.
The event was generously hosted by She Gives Major Partner Perpetual and opened and closed with words of wisdom and wit from Managing Partner of Perpetual Private’s Social Investment Business and ESG Strategy Cat Fay.
