The She Gives Campaign visited Adelaide on August 14th to gather local leaders in women’s giving at a Roundtable and Panel event hosted by the Coopers Foundation. Held in the Leabrook Room at the Coopers Visitor Centre, the venue was alive with the energy of women united by a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in our communities.
This was on full display during the panel discussion with Sarah Langley, Co-Founder of the South Australian Women's Fund, Shona Reid, South Australia’s Guardian for Children and Young People, and Coopers Foundation Board member Rebecca Cooper-Webster. From the legacy of intergenerational generosity to the power of focusing resources for lasting impact, and the momentum that builds when ambition is put into action, the insights shared were thoughtful, practical, and inspiring.
Following the panel, participants contributed their experiences and reflections on the motivations, barriers, and enablers of women’s giving via facilitated small table discussions. These contributions - and those captured at our roundtable events in very state and territory across the country - will feed directly into our Women’s Giving Research Report.
